I usually have a camera with me when I’m out and about. Like I did last New Year’s Eve while seated at a table, trying out a new external flash I had received for Christmas, for my Canon G11 camera. I took lots of shots that night, but this was one of only a few I saved. The camera and shoe–mounted flash did a nice job up close capturing the small water droplets on the wine bottle label, and I was really impressed by the results I got. The wine, by the way comes from Chateau Morrisette Winery in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s one of their best seller basic white table wines at around $9 bucks a bottle.
