I took this image for one purpose only, and that was to see if I could get low enough to have the rock walkway lead my eye to the red bench, without having a bright sunny sky in the background. To make that happen, I had to include the “too bright” portion of the wall in the top left. Still, with the help of Lightroom 3, I was able to tone the brightness down in that portion of the photo, while darkening the rest a bit. Another problem I had was that there was a guy standing close by who had his eye on the bench. As soon as I moved away, he plopped down to take a rest. (Nikon D300, ISO 200, 44mm, f4.5, 1/250 sec. Developed in Lightroom 3)
