Sunlight through a Window

This photo is one reason why I always keep one of my cameras handy. This antique oil lamp sits on my desk in our family room, and the desk is located straight across a space from the patio door. One late afternoon while working at my desk I noticed how the setting sun was being reflected on the lamp, and the shadows resulting on the wall behind. I first moved some of the other objects sitting near the lamp, got my camera out, steadied it on the desk, and made a couple of images. Had I waited less than five minutes longer, the sunlight and shadows would have been gone. Score one for me.
