Crape Myrtle and Insects

July in SW Virginia is typically Crape Myrtle time. Pink-red and white in our neighborhood. They are not only pretty, but they provide a prime source of food for insects of various kinds. To capture insects feeding, you have to be alert and quick. I got lucky here. And better still, I didn’t get stung by the bees. (Photos made using iPhone 7 Plus.)
