Empty and Waiting

A one photo short story. Arriving on time for a medical appointment today and seeing many empty chairs and thus very few patients waiting, I had little need for patience, given a possible lengthy wait, which I figured wouldn’t happen; alas, I was wrong. The treatment room where I was scheduled to go was full of patients. They had speedily been transferred there from the waiting area. Makes sense. My story ends noting I still needed to be calm … during my one hour wait. Empty and waiting (anyway.) Thus concludes my story.
