Monarch Butterflies Passing Through

I’ve been reading recent posts by other WordPress bloggers about butterflies this Fall, and I join them by noting I’m recently seeing more Monarch Butterflies here in SW Virginia. I took my Panasonic GX7 with 45-200mm lens to one of our flower gardens to record what I saw. They seem to like our Lantana flowers the best, maybe because we have so many.

I can attest to the fact I have seen incredible numbers this year, more photographs of them than I could have ever imagined. Great pics BTW !!

Great color and compositions, still feels like summer here has not seen a lot of butterflies migrating south yet.
