The tops of these mushrooms growing in loose compost soil are about eight inches in size. The weight of their tops caused them to fall over. Wasps have been feasting on the inside of this pear growing on one of three large trees in our neighbors yard. I was fortunate to get a photo as one was exiting its “dining atea.”
