First Snow

My last post mentioned how our gardens might soon be covered with snow. Well, about three inches of wet snow has now partially covered our hearty Pansies. The flowers don’t seem to mind. Nor do I.

A scenic view of a few of our backyard trees covered with wet snow. One has to catch winter scenes like this at the right time, because snow often melts quickly, falling off trees first.
