My neighbor alerted me that he had just seen one of the family of our neighborhood Cooper’s Hawk in my backyard. It was raining, so I looked out the window instead of going outside. I saw the bird, sitting on the ground looking alert but clearly wet from the rain. I opened the back door quietly and went outside on the porch to capture the scene with my 55-200mm Fujifilm lens.
