Spring Flowers … Unexpected Places

I enjoy wandering around, looking for photos that are a bit out of the ordinary. I recently spotted two such compositions.

This small Pansy found a way to survive the freezing cold, snow and ice by hiding in warmth-giving rocks.
My walk near a wooded area was blocked by two clumps of Daffodils that were unexpected to say the least. Where did they come from?

  1. Looks like spring is in the air. Unfortunately I woke up this morning to snow here in Missouri. Might try to get out later today and do some photography.
