Rural Virginia … a special place

I’ve been fully retired for twenty years. My wife and I had several options when deciding where to spend the rest of our lives and chose to buy an older home, on 2.5 acres, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I’m so glad we did because living here offers me a wide range of opportunities to enjoy my interests in photography.

An old tobacco barn that once was used to cure freshly picked tobacco leaves, provided a great photo opportunity for me while driving through farming areas in SW Virginia on a beautiful early spring day.
