This cute Chipmunk crept close to where I was sitting on our back porch. We stared at each other for about a minute. Fortunately, It stayed still until after I clicked my camera’s shutter. Then, in a flash, it was gone. I saw this Fawn in our backyard perhaps 100 feet away. I got my camera with telephoto lens on to capture a cute photo. However, I decided to slowly walk closer for a better photo. It stood still watching me approach to within twenty feet, when I decided it was time to take my photo. Afterwards, we looked at each other for several seconds, until a loud car passing by our house made it turn and run, A nice experience indeed.
