We’d just had a very heavy rain and thunderstorm when I noticed afterwards this small, young House Wren sitting in a dry spot, with morning sun drying out its feathers. The scruffy-looking bird is not the most beautiful one around our backyard … that’s for sure … but the critter sure is cute.
