Here’s a mix of different themed photos I recently made. All with wonderful Fujifim mirrorless gear.

Certainly Not Landscape
Making landscape photos has been my primary interest in photography for many years. In some locations its hard not to find a great composition. Alaska for example. But we photo enthusiasts are often challenged to “find, compose and click.” That’s where I am right now as my travel opportunities have been limited for many reasons. So, I adapt.
Looking and Finding
Sometimes I’m limited by location when it comes to photo opportunities. Traveling to places where there may be unlimited possibilities is great, but I find that’s not as simple as it once was given age and health. So, I have to look harder closer to home.
It’s Summer
Beside a Pond
The shoreline of a small pond is a fun place to explore. It’s always been that way for me, starting many years ago as a small barefooted boy in summertime. The difference today is I have a camera to record what I find.
Storm Passing
We’ve been having a series of weather fronts that have brought heavy rain, wind and thunderstorms. As the sun was setting after a recent storm passed I made some photos in our back yard.
Years ago I put a small solar powered light to mark the edge of a flower bed near our driveway. Just for fun I made a photo after the rain stopped. Kinda neat actually.
RustyCompositions
I feel fortunate when I find old rusty metal objects of various sorts. Some are older than others but all are interesting to me when color and texture is considered.
Looking Back at Snowfall
We had about 16 inches of snow a week ago. It was pretty, but snow that deep isn’t easy to manage. It’s mostly melted now. I saw some very interesting photos just waiting for my camera.
