When most people go into Western North Carolina’s very popular Maggie Valley, they go because of the surrounding mountains and the activities so related. I agree that’s mainly why I like going there. As some say, “The mountains are calling and I must go.” However, I’ve found there is a lot of beauty, manmade and natural, besides the mountains that makes me want to come back more and more. The following photos I made recently may prove my point.

Into the Woods
Last week I was in Maggie Valley, NC with my daughter and son-in-law looking at prospects for a new home in Western NC. After crossing this wonderful little stream, with dappled sunlight filtering through the trees above, they found their new home just waiting for them.
I can’t think of a more inviting way to get to there than crossing that little stream. Beauty is all around us!
Maggie Valley Day
I recently returned from a two-day visit to Maggie Valley, NC with our daughter and her husband, who are buying a mountain home there. Beautiful place there. I made some nice images that I want to share. The mountains of Virginia and North Carolina are my absolute favorite place to go. Thank you Lord!
